Emulsion polymerization of styrene in the presence of emulsifiers named "Laprol"
Abstract
Emulsion polymerization of styrene in the presence of Laprol 6003 as surfactants, in various ratios of monomer-dispersion medium (1:4, 1:6, 1:9, 1:25) was studied. It was found that increasing of the monomer concentration in the initial emulsion proceeds to increasing of the microsphere particles size of forming polymer suspension from 0.42 to 0.94 microns at the keeping its stability and restricted particle size distribution.References
