Kinetics of imbibitions of aqueous solutions of polyelectrolytes in the porous systems
Abstract
The paper represented the imbibitions of aqueous solutions of polyacrylic acid, polymethacrylic acid in the porous systems, which is formed from quartz powder and polystyrene. Based on data for the kinetics of imbibition of aqueous solutions of polyelectrolytes in the porous system was studied. The main mechanism of absorption into hydrophobic capillaries is the surface diffusion of the polyelectrolyte molecules on the surface of the no wetted capillary.
