Effect of support nature on catalytic properties of synthesized biocatalyst
Abstract
Catalysts based on natural polysaccharides - poligalakturonana (PSU) fixed on the surface of various inorganic supports and modified with copper ions were studied in the reaction of hydrogen peroxide decomposition and cyclohexane oxidation under mild conditions. The effect of support nature on the yield of the reaction products was observed. The highest activity showed the catalyst supported on alumina ( cyclohexane conversion was 47.7% and selectivity to cyclohexanone - 71.4%). This support, according to the temperature-programmed ammonia desorption, is characterized by strong surface acidic centers.
