Abstract

The electrochemical behavior of thallium was studied on glassy carbon electrode in sulfate, nitrate and acetate solutions. The sweep speed and mixing on the process of thallium discharge-ionization was investigated by methods of cyclic voltammetry, and the nature of the limiting step of the cathodic reduction of metal was defined.  Concluded that the reversibility of the electrode reactions was studied and it was based on the analysis, depending on the current values of the rate of mixing and the scan rate. The highest оutput current typical for sulfate electrolyte.
