Abstract

The composition and structure of the microspheric alumosilicates of Central Heating and Power Plants (CHРP) ashes is studied with the help of modern physical-chemical methods (XRD, scanning electronic microscopy, BET, elemental and chemical analysis). The microspheres activity in the reaction of Na2SO3 oxidation by oxygen is studied by kinetic and potentiometric methods. By means of EPR and Möessbauer spectroscopy it is established that iron enter into the composition of cenospheres in two states Fe3+ and Fe2+, thus, in the field of the iron content 3-4 wt. % the iron (3+) is in the form of single ions in an aluminosilicate matrix.
