Achievements in the field of fundamental research: creation of novel fluorine- and chlorine-containing polyimids with controllable comlex of properties on the basis of alicyclic tetracarboxylic dianhydrides; development of catalitical polycondensation in amide-type aprotic media; development of the methods for modification of polyimides by different low- and macromolecular compounds; investigations in the field of synthetical photochemistry; development of the novel thermostable insulating materials.
Achievements in the field of applied research: development of the technology for production of novel (i) alicyclic dianhydrides by the method of photochemical interaction between maleic dianhydride and benzole, (ii) its alkyl-, halogen- and aryl- derivatives, (iii) materials on their basis: insulating lacquer, films, cable products, press-materials, chemical fibers.
