Synthesis and characterization of the novel composite material based on N-isopropylacrylamide

Abstract

Crosslinked copolymers based on N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) without containing and not containing silver nanoparticles were obtained by radical polymerization. Elemental analysis of hydrogels containing nanoparticles was carried out by X ray diffraction. Surface morphology, thermal properties of water-swellable copolymers based on NIPAAm-HEA was examined using scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry.
